Everyday Celebrity Magazine: Letter From the Editor, Summer 2026
This was originally going to be just an event program — before it became Everyday Celebrity Magazine.
A beautiful one, of course. Something attendees of the Everyday Celebrity Conference could hold in their hands, flip through between sessions, circle names in, tuck into a tote bag, and rediscover months later with a coffee stain and someone’s phone number written in the margin.
But somewhere in the middle of building it, I realized a program was too small for what was taking shape.
I own a media company. I believe stories create authority, recognition, connection, and opportunity. I have spent years helping people understand that their work deserves a larger stage, stronger evidence, and more places for the world to discover it.
At some point, I had to take my own advice.
So the program became a magazine.
Welcome to Everyday Celebrity Magazine
This first issue is rooted in the conference, the people speaking there, the sponsors helping bring it to life, and the city hosting us. Still, these pages are meant for anyone building a body of work, a reputation, a business, or a life they want more people to recognize.
Inside, you will find profiles of fascinating people, thoughtful conversations about authority and influence, practical ideas you can use, and stories that deserve more space than a social media caption can give them. You will also find Atlantic City through my eyes, which means good food, local history, ocean air, strong opinions, and at least one family member you may encounter if you wander into the right bookstore.
My hope is that this magazine becomes a place where remarkable people are documented while they are still in motion.
There is something powerful about being written about before the whole world knows your name. About having your work examined with care. About seeing your story placed inside a larger cultural conversation and realizing that what you have built is already worth paying attention to.
I see big things for this publication.
New editions will come as the stories, ideas, events, and people demand them. The magazine will always be available to read online for free, because access matters and good work deserves to travel. You can visit TheEverydayCelebrity.com to read and share the articles, subscribe for future editions, and follow what we are building next.
And because I am still a real person on the other side of this page, you can always email me, the editor at hi@lesliejespersen.com.
Tell me what you loved. Tell me what made you think. Tell me who we should know about. Tell me which story you sent to someone with the words, “This made me think of you.” Tell me who should be on the next cover.
That is how a magazine becomes more than pages.
It becomes a conversation.
Thank you for being here at the beginning.
Welcome to the first edition of Everyday Celebrity Magazine.
